New Zealand Media and Entertainment (NZME) and ZM are partnering with ANZ Bank NZ for the third year for ANZ Donation Station with the biggest twist yet, the Daffodil Drop edition, sending ZM announcers and special guests plummeting from Auckland's Sky Tower to raise money for the Cancer Society this Daffodil Day.
From 6am to 6pm tomorrow - Friday 28 August, ZM will broadcast live from the base of the Sky Tower for the all-day fundraiser. The more donations that come in, the more times announcers and special guests will take the plunge 192 metres, or 53 storeys, from the new SkyRide at SkyCity Auckland.
This year's line-up of daredevil guests includes sporting legends Israel Adesanya and Joseph Parker, Silver Ferns players, actor Julian Dennison, and Grammy-winning producer Joel Little - best known for co-writing Lorde's hit song Royals.
NZME CEO Michael Boggs has also thrown his hat in the ring, committing to doing the drop himself from the SkyRide, on one condition: ANZ CEO Antonia Watson joins him for a tandem ride - a challenge she happily agreed to.
