NZME’s real estate platform, OneRoof, has partnered with property management technology company Tenancy, creating a seamless new experience for renters while delivering gains for professional property managers across New Zealand.
The partnership enables tenants to find rental properties, book viewings and make applications for rental properties directly through OneRoof, as well as providing property managers with a smarter, more efficient service at no cost.
For those property managers, many of whom oversee portfolios of 100 properties or more, the integration automates the earliest and most time-consuming steps of the rental process: coordinating viewings and fielding applications. The partnership is expected to deliver fewer missed enquiries, faster turnarounds on vacant properties, and a more professional experience for prospective tenants.
Developed exclusively for professionally managed properties, the feature is available to the 4,000+ property managers who use Tenancy, which manages a significant share of New Zealand’s rental market.
James MacAvoy, Chief of OneRoof says: “This is exactly the kind of innovation that makes OneRoof invaluable to New Zealanders. Our goal has always been to be with our users at every step of the property journey and that isn’t limited to buying and selling.
“Renting is how a huge number of Kiwis experience the property market, and by partnering with Tenancy we are making it genuinely easier for renters to find and secure a home through OneRoof, while also providing a better service to the property managers who power that market,” he says.
Samantha Foreman, General Manager for Tenancy, says: “We’re pleased to partner with OneRoof as one of the country’s leading property platforms. Our technology gives both tenants and property managers peace of mind that it is a safe and compliant way to secure a tenancy. By connecting OneRoof’s large audience directly with Tenancy’s technology infrastructure, the two companies will be providing a more connected, more efficient rental marketplace.”
