BusinessDesk is growing its premium weekend lifestyle offering with the expansion of The Life – now published across Saturday and Sunday and designed to inform, inspire and engage New Zealand’s most influential readers.
The Life expansion introduces a suite of new verticals written by some of New Zealand’s most well-known journalists and columnists. Finance writer Kerri Jackson guides readers on The Road to Retirement, Peter Griffin explores Executive Health, Helene Ravlich covers Vitality, Matt Martel writes about dining out in Table and Glass, Victoria Young curates objects of desire in The Edit, and Peter Bale takes readers behind the wheel with his automotive coverage. Further additions to the line-up are planned in the coming months.
BusinessDesk’s subscriber base represents one of the most high-value audiences in New Zealand. More than 50% have household incomes exceeding $300,000, 60% have more than $1 million invested outside a family home (including nearly a quarter with more than $5 million), and almost half own a luxury vehicle.
Matt Martel, Publisher of BusinessDesk says: “The world’s leading financial publications also produce some of the best lifestyle content and we’re pleased to be launching this extended premium content offering at BusinessDesk. As well as offering our valued subscribers more excellent lifestyle content, The Life provides opportunities for our advertising partners to reach a highly engaged premium audience in an environment aligned with their interests and aspirations.
“The expansion of The Life is further evidence of NZME’s commitment to, and investment in BusinessDesk, which is already the country’s biggest subscription-based business news site by a significant margin.”
The Life is now available every Saturday and Sunday at BusinessDesk.co.nz. BusinessDesk’s subscriber favourites The Life Of and Fail File will also continue as part of the expanded weekend offering.
