The ZM Podcast Network’s hugely popular Sex.Life podcast is back for a third season and listeners should prepare themselves for the most intimate season yet, with Somatic Sexologist Morgan Penn searching for something more: true love.
Following two seasons of adventurous exploration, Penn is turning the microphone inward. In a bold and deeply personal journey, Penn and ZM breakfast show host Hayley Sproull take listeners through the wild, hilarious, and sometimes heartbreaking landscape of dating, desire, and the search for lasting connection.
From cringeworthy teenage escapades to X-rated car rendezvous. Penn’s candid storytelling brings a perfect blend of hilarity and heartbreak, making this the most relatable and compelling season yet.
Morgan Penn says: “As a Somatic Sexologist, I help people in relationships have better sex and love each other more. Now, I’m turning the questions inward - exploring my own history with love, sex, and dating to figure out how to find my one true love.
“In previous seasons I've put all parts of my body on the line and I have done some wild things, but this season feels like my riskiest yet. I'm exposing my heart. This is my quest for love.
“I couldn't do this without my fellow empowered wahine Hayley Sproull by my side. Having her share her own personal stories reinforces that we are not alone in our experiences. I wasn't sure if our listeners would be up for this deep dive, but the Sex.Life community has shown me they are here for it all. They want to feel and learn and go through the wild and the clunky with me and I love this so much. As I grow and evolve professionally and personally, I want to take everyone along with me, let’s upgrade together and change the world by communicating and loving better. It's time to go deeper,” says Penn.
With more than 1.5 million downloads across two seasons and a string of awards, including multiple top rankings on Spotify and Apple and wins at the NZ Radio and Podcast Awards, Sex.Life has firmly cemented itself as one of New Zealand’s leading podcasts.
Sarah Catran, NZME Head of Digital Audio says: “NZME’s growing catalogue of diverse podcast content means there is something for everyone. With Sex.Life we’re investing in bold, diverse content that not only reflects the evolving interests of our audiences but also pushes the boundaries of what’s possible with podcasting. Sex.Life is a prime example of how we’re building a dynamic audio portfolio that connects deeply with listeners and positions us at the forefront of digital audio innovation in New Zealand."
Episodes drop every Wednesday from 4 June on iHeartRadio and all major podcast platforms.
