Sticky Homepage - Desktop
Guide to setting up and managing sticky homepage ads on desktop
The sticky is a billboard ad size which sticks to the bottom of the page and doesn't move as you scroll. It’s a super visible ad. This will show on launch on the desktop homepage, capped at 1. If a user navigates back to the homepage after seeing the sticky once, they will see a homepage billboard (we load this as a fallback).

Creative Setup
New creative > 970x250 > Custom creative template > 1. Static Showcase and Sticky
- Drop your image
- Add click URL/click tracker
- Creative type > Desktop Sticky
- Add impression tracker in IMPTRK field if required
- Add viewability tracker in Script field if required
Go back to your order and ensure your line status is Ready.
Now you need to set up a new line for the fallback.

Note: The 970x250 creative for the fallback is a Billboard, not a sticky!
Add creative targets in your line:
- 970x250 > Add targeting > Add targeting preset > Billboard Not Closed {Advertiser Name}
- 728x90 > Add targeting > Add targeting preset > Billboard Closed {Advertiser Name}
If the preset target doesn't exist, you can set it up like this.
Add 970x250 creative > assign Billboard Not Closed target
Add 728x90 creative > assign Billboard Closed target
Go back to your order and ensure your line status is Ready.
Notes
- Before you load a homepage sticky, check it's booked in the digital calendar – we can only run 1 per day.
- Preview the sticky ad on site to check it is going to launch correctly.
- *You can copy your sticky flight rather than setting up a new line from scratch, but make sure you re-load the billboard creative, as it requires a different creative format.
