Programmatic Test Page Setup

Guide to setting up a Programmatic Guaranteed (PG) test page

This article provides instructions on how to set up a Programmatic Guaranteed (PG) test page, similar to a Direct-Buy Test page. It is best practice to create a separate deal for the agency or client.

How to set-up:

  1. Create a new Proposal with the correct DV360 seat.
  2. Name it TEST PAGE (client name and campaign) - e.g.: TEST PAGE My Food Bag - NZH ROS - Native display (IAS Tag Test)
  3. Ensure to have adtest is any of super important!
  4. The rate will have to be $0.01 because GAM can't take $0 as an input.
  5. Under Impression Limit, you can put in 1000.

Once the GAM proposal is created, send it to the agency or client for them to test. Then provide them a Unique URL with the adtest code – e.g. https://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/politics/grant-robertson-to-reveal-size-of-savings-in-budget-2023/XQNO5BOK3RAARA5OHSR3LNPZUA/?adtest=mfbnativetestpage

Please note: If the agency is still not seeing the ad while testing, they may have to clear their cache.
