PG Briefing Guide

A comprehensive guide for processing Programmatic Guaranteed (PG) deals.

For each PG to be processed we need to be supplied with the following information:

Programmatic Guaranteed Briefing Guide.docx

Brief Requirements

  • Seat ID
  • Agency
  • Client
  • Campaign Name
  • Product
  • Ad sizes / Ad length
  • Targeting
  • Dates
  • Budget
  • If Premium Tenancy – Static or Dynamic

Any Freq Caps can be included within targeting. If no FCap is given then no Fcap will be applied, with the exception of premium tenancy where frequency is part of the standard setup.

Campaign Name is optional – if the client provides one, we’ll include it, but we may edit/append to it slightly, so it is easily understood by both parties.

CPM Campaign briefs must include a screengrab of availability that includes the targeting settings used.

Internal Only: All audio deals need an audio plan attached with the brief.

Advertiser Hosted – Buyer can load creative

  • 300x600
  • 970x250

  • Outstream

Native

We can host these creatives from our end on request – please let us know during the briefing process. If not specified, we will assume that these creatives will be Advertiser Hosted.

For PG deals clients will need to accept a deal and attach their own creative in their DSP themselves once we provide the deal details.

Publisher Hosted – We must load creative

Bonzai / Celtra

  • Skins
  • Big Reveal / New View
  • Dynamic Showcase
  • Custom Templates
  • Pushdown
  • Static Showcase

We need to know whether it is Static or Video to configure the Deal. We need to know what sized creative to expect for the fallback to configure the Deal. We need to know whether we are including tablet sizes to configure the Deal.

As these are custom NZME placements, they cannot be Advertiser Hosted. Please work with Dan where applicable to ensure that creatives are built before live date.

When we set up deals, we need to know a) what sized creative to expect for the fallback and/or b) if a static or dynamic creative to expect to configure the Deal.

For PG deals, clients will need to accept their deal in their seat and confirm to traffic that it has been accepted at least 4 working hours before the start date for the NZME trafficker to load the creative.
