Native Labels

Understanding the correct application of native labels for campaigns

It is a requirement that the correct native label is applied to ALL native campaigns to ensure we are correctly attributing the type of placement. If the wrong label is used, this can put NZME into a potential legal issue.

The following labels currently exist and their purpose is detailed:

Sponsored

This is redirecting to a piece of commercial content which lives on an NZME property. The client has paid for the creation and promotion of this editorial piece.

Partnership

This is similar to Sponsored however NZME has also agreed to feature in the article as a partner.

Advertisement

This is advertising content directing the user to an off-site webpage but could also apply to Advertorial placements.

Read More

This is NZME redirecting the user to more NZME editorial content.

Brand Insight

This is no longer used but still exists as there are remaining placements requiring the label.
