How to Use Cyberduck for Video Uploads
A step-by-step guide to using Cyberduck for uploading video files.
Introduction
This article provides instructions on how to use Cyberduck to upload video files to the NZME server.
Step-by-Step Guide
- Open Cyberduck.
- If a popup comes up asking you to update or donate, you can ignore it.
- Click Open Connection in the top left corner.
- Change the server to Amazon S3.
- Paste the Access Key ID into the box.
- If the Secret Access Key does not automatically populate, paste it into the box.
- Click More Options to expand it.
- Paste the Path in the box. Refer to the image below to ensure you have all the right fields.
- Click Connect.
- You should now be in the folder with all the Pushdown/Viewroll videos.
- Drag and drop your video file into the folder (make sure it's the right specs).
- When your video has uploaded, right-click > Copy URL > copy the S3 URL.
e.g. s3://nzme-ads.co.nz/video/RE%20SUM19%20Pushdown_R.mp4
- Change s3 at the start of the URL to https.
e.g. https://nzme-ads.co.nz/video/RE%20SUM19%20Pushdown_R.mp4
- Paste this into a browser to check it's working.
- Paste the link into your creative format > Add creative > New creative > 728x90 > Custom creative template > 4. Pushdown.
Bookmark Cyberduck
- To bookmark/save the login, click Bookmark --> New Bookmark.
- The bookmark will automatically be created. You just need to give it a Nickname.
- Close the popup.
- You can toggle between Bookmarks and the Video folder by clicking the small icons under Open Connection as shown in the screenshot.
