Common issues and solutions for digital audio operations
Contacting Reps about RAP issues
Using the chatter function is the easiest way to contact Reps for any issues you may have when loading (missing material, confirming information, asking clarification etc).
Create a new post as you would an email, and add an @ before the name of the REP who instructed the RAP to ensure they get the notification as well as an email of the message you send.
Drive Audio Issues
Audio has to be loaded and approved in Drive before we load it into our systems.
No Audio
- If you see the above please contact the creator of the RAP through chatter or email asking them to supply audio to Drive.

- Approved audio will be green.

- Orange means the audio is waiting approval. Please contact the REP and ask them to get the audio approved in Drive before loading. If it is red (in the first box) the audio is in draft - contact the rep asking when the audio will be ready and approved.

- Duration Issues - have a listen to the audio first, if it sounds like it gets cut off at the end, contact the rep and ask if it is okay to load, but if it sounds normal then you can load anyway (if it is Green).

- If you see the below contact the REP and ask when the audio will be ready.

Audio Creative/files
- Found in Drive
- Also referred to as 'keys' or 'headers'
If Audio is not in Drive
- Try checking the "Include Inactive" box and search again.

- Check in AudioServe if audio has been previously loaded (previous lines from the Advertiser).
- If it is in there, download the ad by clicking the cloud button when in the ad >three dots > download.

- If not in any of the above, please email soundvisioncreative@nzme.co.nz and they will send you a copy if they have it.

Other Reasons to contact REPS
- Audio plans are required for campaigns with podcast lines. If it is not attached as a file in the RAP ask the REP for one. It will be an excel file like the below. There is also a targeting tab which shows how the lines have been forecasted and you can copy this exactly.


- Contract number isn't correct/Cant find booking
- Ask for the proposal of what they're instructing.
- Companion Banner
- Missing? Might be supplied in DD, check there first.
- If not - Ask to supply.
- Sometimes a companion banner will be booked with audio but not instructed - its always worth emailing the rep and asking if they are still running the banner.
- URL is sometimes not supplied with the banner - ask rep to supply.
- MREC size - needs to be JPEG or GIF - we can't load HTML files.
- RAP dates don’t match GAM booking
- Might be a flight for audio.
- Double check dates with REP as they may need to get it changed with MM.
- Unsure about targeting?
- Ask for audio plan.
