Closing Google Ads

Steps to properly close and transfer Google Ads accounts

On our end we need to make sure:

  1. All campaigns are paused on our end for Google AdWords
  2. Clients have been added as admin on Google AdWords
  3. Please make sure to go into billing, account budget and end the NZME Billing account budget
  4. Make the required changes on budget tracker and one note

Please double check if you have a client leaving and you are unsure.

Ask if the client will be looking after Google Ads in-house or going to another agency, and who will be responsible for payments, then send the following form over:

  • I authorize Google to update the information associated with my company�s payments profile. I understand that this is a change to the entire profile and it will be reflected across all accounts billed to this payments profile.
