Instructions for managing BusinessDesk EDM in Ad Butler

This article provides instructions on how to manage BusinessDesk EDM in Ad Butler.

Loading

In Ad Butler:

  • Search Advertiser
  • Add Campaign > Standard Campaign > Add line name as campaign name > No roadblock tags > Save
  • Find campaign and click into it > Add Ad Item > Load creative and add name and URL > SAVE
    • If you get tags > Copy the whole Click Tag into Destination URL and the Impression Tag (Image) from http till ord= and add %%CACHEBUSTER%% at the end into the tracking pixel
  • Add Zone Assignments > Assign to Zones
  • Email MREC > Fixed Delivery > Change pacing from default to smooth delivery > Enter dates in Schedule > Quota = half of imp goal > Add CPM > Save
  • Secondary email> Fixed Delivery > Change pacing from default to smooth delivery > Enter dates in Schedule > Quota = half of imp goal > Add CPM > Save

Creating Advertisers

Click into Advertisers and then Add Advertiser. Enter the name as it is in GAM/MM and Save.
