Radio

Radio advertising is available in a variety of fixed durations including 15, 30, 45 and 60-second commercials.

Other options include 10-second messages placed before or during elements in each radio show, such as the News and Time Saver Traffic Reports, or we can help you explore bespoke options like sponsoring an entire radio show.

We'll help you identify which radio station your customers are listening to, then shape your message into a radio ad that resonates and connects directly with them.

Already have an ad you would like to use? No problem! Pre-ready radio ads need to be supplied as an MP3 file of 320 kbps. The duration of the ad needs to be exact to the duration booked e.g 7, 10, 15, 30, 45, 60 or 90 seconds. Single ads per file.

Digital - Online Ad Units

NZME. Digital offers functional and well-positioned online advertising on its sites. If you would like to explore any options outside of what is on offer, please contact your account manager. Questions regarding digital advertising material may be directed to digitaltraffic@nzme.co.nz

  • Maximum file sizes apply to creative loaded into third party redirects.
  • Creative files must be included with third party tags.
  • Standard creative is due to digitaltraffic@nzme.co.nz three working days before the ad is to go live.
  • Rich media is due five days before the ad is due to go live.
  • Please supply a working click-through URL for your ads.
  • We can host HTML 5 creative 

Copy requirements for NZME digital ad production

Please supply assets such as logos and images as gif, jpg or png files. If you would like to incorporate video content or existing animated files into your ad, please contact your account manager before booking.  In most cases, in order to incorporate video assets, a specific video rich media format will need to be booked which may incur additional production fees and a different media rate.      

Large, high resolution images need to be downsized, and this limits how much content we can place with an ad and may affect final resolution quality.

Your NZME Account Manager will liaise with our production department on any potential issues with design or files being requested.
