Ready to take responsibility for providing quality service and maintaining all our Broadcast Technology to optimal levels? The remit for this role is to ensure NZME’s broadcast systems are kept fully operational on a 24 by 7 basis. In doing this you will assist in monitoring the day-to-day technical performance of the broadcast environments to ensure their integrity, efficiency and to minimise downtime.  You’ll provide well-considered solutions in a prompt and efficient manner, always being aware of the immediate impact due to the critical nature of the business.

Ideally you’ll have three years’ experience in a related technology field and be experienced in managing hardware in a niche industry. You’ll have demonstrated hands-on ability and strong communication skills.

As a lateral thinker, your ability to research and recommend the most cost-effective and innovative solutions for the company will be as valued as your time management skills and ability to work independently and get results. You’re naturally adaptable, taking change in your stride as you multi-task & prioritise multiple responsibilities.
