We are currently on the lookout for a savvy Senior Analyst to join our Finance team in a true business partnership role working with the Commercial arm of NZME, providing financial and analytical support.
The focus of the role will be to provide financial insights that assist with developing & implementing strategies for improved commercial performance. You will manage & extract data to provide insightful analysis and reporting, ensuring data integrity is maintained (often referencing multiple sources) at all times. In addition you will aid in the administration and management of the commercial team’s incentive schemes, including targeting, reporting and modelling. You’ll need to work well as part of a team and provide direction to others.
Ideally you’ll have knowledge of the media industry, but if not we can teach you that. What’s important is your can-do attitude, attention to detail, people & communication skills and a good sense of humour. We’re a deadline driven environment that’s constantly changing & innovating – and this won’t phase you!
To be successful in your application, you will have:
· Robust analytical skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to see the big picture;
· Outstanding analytical and problem solving skills;
· A relevant tertiary qualification (Commerce or Finance);
· 5+ years analytical business experience in a commercial or finance advisory environment; and
· Advanced MS Excel, presentation and reporting skills.
