At NZME we’re investing in the future and as a result an opportunity has arisen for a talented individual to join our Procurement Team
This role has a broad remit, with responsibility for securing the supply of direct and indirect goods and services at market leading value whilst creating strong relationships - externally and internally. You will manage the contract and supplier accreditation process and assist in the evaluation of major tenders. Importantly you will develop and establish best practice procurement systems for the business as you will champion procurement across the wider group.
To be successful in this role you will have a minimum of five years procurement experience and a demonstrated ability to lead complex negotiations. Ideally tertiary qualified, experience in the printing and or packaging sector would be beneficial though not essential. You will be analytical and have excellent systems skills with the ability to understand and manage contracts. The ability to communicate effectively at all levels is critical and an inquisitive nature is important to identify untapped synergies within the group.
