About the role:
You'll be managing a team of 20 outbound sales consultants from 3.30pm - 8pm Monday – Friday. Reporting to the Subscriber Sales and Marketing Manager, you’ll be part of an awesome team of five, all working towards the same goals.
From 3.30pm – 5pm you’ll be working on recruitment, planning, reporting and interacting with the rest of the marketing team. Then from 5pm – 8pm you’ll be leading and coaching the outbound team to achieve the sales targets.
You'll be working with SUPER-WARM leads, selling subscriptions to a range of NZ's leading newspapers, including the NZ Herald (and your prospects have already been receiving the paper, your team just needs to encourage them to continue).
The role is Ellerslie-based in brand new offices at NZME – with free onsite parking!
You'll be a great motivator, sales leader, people manager and team player. You've got loads of outbound sales experience, as well as experience recruiting and leading teams. You're used to working in a target-driven environment and making sales and achieving your numbers is what you love! You also need to have excellent Excel skills and experience with telephony systems.
