Events marketing is your thing right? You have a solid four + years’ experience in the field and love nothing more than solving problems, making things happen and using your sound understanding of the events environment to produce outstanding end to end results. We’re going to put it frankly, this role is all about ‘lead generation’ marketing, it’s about ‘bums’ on seats as opposed to a ‘brand focus’; there’s no doubt we need someone that can increase event revenue and attendance.
This is a new role for us and is a result of our ever expanding Events offering - it’s going to be a busy one and will have some big goals to achieve. Your event marketing skills will span print, radio, digital, social, display, content and website management and will enable to you set, drive and deliver our event marketing strategy. A natural collaborator and communicator you’ll be strongly customer centric in your bid to build the NZME Events profile.
We’re very much work hard / play hard around here; multitasking through juggling multiple projects simultaneously is essential. We’re fast paced, high volume, multi brand and as such need someone flexible and willing to roll up their sleeves when needed. You’ll need to be a people person, managing and building positive relationships, taking feedback and dealing with challenging situations in a positive manner and your cost and budget management skills will need to be second to none.
