Wanted: A talented journalist to take on an exciting, dynamic new-generation newsroom role. NZME Bay of Plenty is looking for a journalist to generate and co-ordinate content across multiple news platforms - digital, social and print. Could this be you?
You’ll be ticking boxes if: you possess a recognised journalism qualification, have relevant daily or weekly newsroom experience, are able to produce well-written content and video for digital and print, as well as curate social media. You will also need to have the skills to coordinate print production,and design lively, engaging pages using CyberGraphicand InDesign systems - or show an ability to learn these skills quickly!
If successful you’ll find yourself workingacross the Bay of Plenty Times and Rotorua Daily Post, as well as other NZME titles, including nzherald.co.nz. This is a terrific opportunity for an enthusiastic journalist to showcase a variety of skills across two busy daily newsrooms, where you can base yourself in either Tauranga or Rotorua -- cities close to fantastic beaches, lakes and outdoor pursuits.
