We are currently on the lookout for commercially savvy analyst to join our Finance team. Reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager for Planning and Performance, you will partner with the Commercial team to provide financial and analytical support.

The focus of the role will be to provide financial insights that assist with developing & implementing group strategies for improved commercial performance as well as supporting the Finance Manager. You will also manage & extract data to provide insightful analysis and reporting, ensuring data integrity is maintained (often referencing multiple sources) at all times. In addition you will aid in the administration and management of the team’s incentive schemes, including targeting, reporting and modelling. 

Ideally you’ll have knowledge of the Media Industry, but if not we can teach you that. What’s important is your can-do attitude, attention to detail, people & communication skills and a good sense of humour. We’re a deadline driven environment that’s constantly changing & innovating – and this won’t phase you, in fact you’ll find it invigorating & energising!

To be successful in your application, you will have:

  • Robust analytical skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to see the big picture
  • Outstanding analytical and problem solving skills
  • A relevant tertiary qualification (Commerce or Finance)
  • CA/CPA/CIMA qualified or working towards (preferred but not essential)
  • Preferably 1-3+ years analytical business partnering experience in a commercial finance environment
  • Advanced MS Excel, presentation and reporting skills
