Keen to kick-start your marketing career with an award winning team? Got a massive passion for wanting to get the most out of everything and go the extra mile? A superstar when it comes to relationships and generally smashing it out of the park? Great, we want to hear from you!

The goal of this role is to assist the Marketing and Brand Managers with the implementation of multimedia campaigns. It’s a hands-on role and with a focus on growing and retaining audience engagement across all platforms – print, web, mobile and social – and executing market leading campaigns across a variety of multimedia channels for our News and Sport brands. To be successful in this role, you’ll need to get right amongst it; drafting briefs, collating engaging proposals, assisting in the creation of creative content concepts, coordinating and managing project plans, all while providing excellent relationship management to your internal stakeholders.

Ideally you’ll have had 1-2 years in a marketing coordination role – but if you’re a recent grad with some work experience under your belt we’re equally keen to hear from you. Your excellent communication and organisational skills mean you’re a dab hand at working on multiple projects at once; all while keeping your sense of humour! You’re a natural collaborator with a positive and confident ‘can-do’ attitude. You know what engaging digital and social media content is, and understand the principles of cross-promotion in order to reach a maximum audience. Knowledge of the media industry would be a great advantage.

NZME is a fast-paced, vibrant workplace and this role represents a significant opportunity to hone a variety of skills that will enable you to head in various career directions. As an organisation we value innovation, reward, recognition and development in our biggest asset – our talent.
